Anthony Hill
Anthony's business career began as a consumer educator for the Sacramento Urban League. He is from Sacramento. Services included consumer education for telemarketing, fraud, credit card and financial management; social equality, cultural sensitivity, tobacco, drug, alcohol, discrimination, multi-systems family therapy, family health, nutrition, teen pregnancy, and HIV/AIDS services. Working with various community organizations, Mr. Hill developed a niche for business development. Working with HUD, government agencies, private industry, small businesses entrepreneurs, schools, non-profits, and for profit organizations, he assisted them with financial packages, business and program development, grant writing, marketing, fundraising, and providing technical assistance. While working he also attended school to ensure his competency and knowledge base was proficient with the services rendered. Mr. Hill has worked many years in the field of economic development, assisting businesses entrepreneurs, property owners, health clinics and ethnic based organizations throughout California, to help establish housing and access to behavioral, dental, and medical services for the uninsured, working poor individuals with limited resources.
Anthony Hill, is an Associate Therapist for Mending Feelings Psychotherapy Clinic and Consultant of Lotus Healthcare and Recovery Center a non profit organization in California providing community support, therapy, and counseling via transitional housing, and through outpatient services in-person and via telemedicine. Populations served include BIPOC, general population, PTSD, individuals living with PTSD, trauma, depression, anxiety, obsessive compliance disorders by way of diversified partnerships, supportive services, and training programs. Mr. Hill is a therapist and the consultant for several group homes, foster care, and Short Term Residential Facility. He facilitates monthly workshops of human development courses, is a federal review, facilitates ACE's Coalition, Drug Safety Coalition and Programs, and consults three medical clinics, one methadone clinic and his consulting company. Mr. Hill handles business development, new projects, grant writing, business life coaching, assessments and screenings, marketing, operations, budgets, corporate restructures, and manages fundraising committees. Administration and organizational skills, writes news articles for several nonprofits, article, and proposal development, and is sensitive to cultural diversity and persons with disabilities community groups. Having completed his Master’s Degree, in Marriage and Family therapy along the continuation of clinical psychology pursuit, and the completion of a Business Administration Bachelor’s Degree, led him into becoming a Medical Student at St. James Medical School. Mr. Hill's knowledge base includes, 20 plus years working with adolescents, and adults, due to inequity, lack of inclusion, discrimination, adverse childhood experiences, trauma, discrimination, chemical dependency, pain management, infusion therapy, and healthcare and sports/entertainment laws. He has also developed policy and procedures for medical clinics and for California businesses.
