Diana Silvestre, Marriage & Family Therapist Trainee

Hi, I’m Diana! I’m a Marriage and Family Therapy and Professional Clinical Counseling student at National University, and I’m passionate about helping people heal, grow, and navigate life’s challenges. My approach is warm, supportive, and focused on addressing the root causes of emotional distress so that you can find lasting well-being. As a U.S. Air Force veteran, I understand how stress, transitions, and past experiences can impact mental health. My time in the military shaped my resilience and deep commitment to serving others, especially those struggling with anxiety, depression, and trauma.

I’m fluent in both English and Spanish, which allows me to connect with clients in a way that feels natural and culturally responsive. I work under the supervision of Dr. La Tanya Takla, EdD (PSY 32391) and strive to create a safe, welcoming space where you feel heard and supported. At Mending Feelings, I help clients manage anxiety, overthinking, depression, trauma, and stress by providing practical tools and coping strategies.

I truly believe that no one should have to face their struggles alone, and I’m here to support you on your journey to healing, growth, and emotional well-being.
